Rules

paidtop is a public leaderboard ordered by the total amount paid (a paid listing service). There are no ads, no API keys, and no revenue share.

  1. A placement starts at USD 1, in whole-dollar steps. The per-payment maximum is the one shown on the order screen. What you get for the payment is these three things:
    • A listing page with its own URL (paidtop.org/l/…), showing the display name, the one-line description, a link to the listed URL, the cumulative amount paid, and the current position.
    • A shareable card image, generated per listing, shown when the listing page's URL is pasted into a social network or a chat.
    • Click statistics — how many times the listing page has forwarded a visitor on — shown on the listing page.
  2. Rank is ordered by cumulative amount paid. On a tie, the placement that reached the total first ranks higher.
  3. Send the same URL or handle again and the new amount is added to your total, moving you up. Totals never expire.
  4. Your rank changes whenever anyone else pays. The Operator guarantees no rank and no rank is held for you.
  5. Rank is set by the amount paid and nothing else. It says nothing about the quality, popularity, or track record of what is listed.
  6. You may list a URL for a product, a service, or a personal site, and X / Instagram handles. Chat invite links (Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, LINE, and the like), link shorteners, and URLs carrying affiliate or tracking parameters are not accepted. Query strings are stripped from every URL before it is stored.
  7. Not allowed: adult / NSFW material, anything illegal, fraud, phishing, malware, infringement of anyone else's rights, impersonation, gambling, investment solicitation, multi-level marketing, and discrimination or harassment. Such a placement is refused or removed. No refund is given for a removal caused by the User. If the Operator removes a placement purely at its own discretion, the Operator refunds the most recent payment for that placement.
  8. On the oshi board, the payment is a listing fee paid to the Operator; no money goes to the person listed. A placement is removed on request from that person or a rights holder (paidtop.org/takedown).
  9. Payment is processed by Stripe as Merchant of Record, which acts as the seller and collects and remits any sales tax or VAT. Listing fees are non-refundable as a rule. At the Operator's discretion only — for example a duplicate charge or a clear mistake — a refund may be granted if requested within 10 days of the payment. Write to support@paidtop.org and we will arrange it. The refund is issued through Stripe. A refunded payment is subtracted from that listing's cumulative total and positions are recalculated; a listing whose total reaches zero is hidden.
  10. Placements are public. Clicking one forwards the visitor to the URL you submitted, without a query string.
  11. The Service is for adults. A minor needs the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  12. The Operator is not responsible for the content a placement points to. The Operator's liability is capped at the amount paid for that placement over the previous twelve months, except in cases of the Operator's intent or gross negligence.
  13. These Rules are governed by Japanese law, and the court with jurisdiction over the Operator's location has jurisdiction.
  14. These Rules are amended by updating this page.
